Inner Quest and Guide Sessions | Sunday 8:00 - 11:00 AM
During this interactive workshop we will begin exploring the offering of Inner Quest and Guide Sessions. These exercises use meditative journaling and the support of a facilitator to assist students in taking their yoga off the mat and into their lives. Using these techniques we create and provide a safe space for our students to process and turn inwards to listen to their own inner wisdom and guide.
Employing these practices for the purpose of self-awareness can be a potent way to access internal conversations and shed light on confusion and conflicting self-perceptions. To be clear, you are NOT a therapist in this scenario, you are simply holding space and a framework for your student or client to process and begin to listen to their inner wisdom. This is also an amazing addition to your business and teacher trainings.

Equity FOR Yoga: Decoloniality and Justice in Western Yoga Spaces | Sunday 12:30 - 2:30 PM
Yoga is a Moksha Sadhana, a path of liberation. However, the form that Yoga has taken in the West has a long history of extraction, dilution, repurposing and commodification which not only displaces the true nature of this ancient spiritual system but also inherently harms its indigenous roots and cultural stewards. Yoga is likely the most exploited, changed and commodified spiritual tradition in the world.
This deep work and conversation will take us beyond what has been discussed in vogue recently: that it is important to bring inclusion, social justice, and equity into the Yoga business model, studio environment and our mats; but we will see that there is a whole other side that is extremely important and largely missed: that we must do justice to Yoga and have equity for Yoga itself.
Join Ravi in this provocative workshop that will confront your assumptions and understandings of the Yoga tradition and help you to rediscover Yoga from its own lens, in which the resulting paradigm shifts will allow you to have a more authentic connection to Dharma, and a more genuine practice and offering from Yoga’s own perspective (drishti) and framework.
Content for this session may initiate feelings of discomfort and defensiveness as participants will be challenged to think of their role as a teacher critically. This is a courageous space for those who are not only willing to recognize the harm that is continually perpetuated against Yoga by colonialism, but desire to participate in changing its trajectory in our society.

Going Beyond the Dosha Quiz in Ayurveda | Sunday 12:30 - 2:30 PM
Ayurveda has grown in popularity alongside yoga for many years which means more people have a familiarity of the three doshas, vata, pitta, and kapha. But if we limit ourselves to only thinking about the characteristics of the three doshas and what the dosha quiz tells us, we miss out on the vastness and profound depth of the science of Ayurveda.
Join Farnosh Family (she/her) for a workshop exploring the depth of Ayurveda, a traditional form of medicine and a healing art. After a brief introduction to what the doshas are, we will discuss what the dosha quizzes leave out and how effective self-inquiry can be in exploring Ayurveda. And while Ayurveda is a science that predates modern times, we will see how fundamental principles in Ayurveda are proven within the framework of modern medicine as well. Come to this class for foundational knowledge and practical tools from Ayurveda you can use to support yourself as a yoga teacher and share with your students.
