What to Expect When You Attend the Yoga Teacher Conf in Denver
We are excited to come together in Denver for the Yoga Teacher Conf! Here is a checklist of the important things you’ll need to do to be prepared for the event:
Before You Travel to Denver
- Please check the websites of your airline, airport(s), car rental, and hotel accommodations to review their health and safety protocols.
- Here are the health & safety protocols for the Hyatt Regency Aurora.
- If traveling internationally, check the COVID policies for re-entering your country.
- Pack an ample supply of face coverings to use.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or do not feel well, please do not travel. If you are unable to attend the Conf due to a positive COVID test, we will refund your ticket minus 5% for processing fees. Refunds will be given within 7 days of the end of the Conf.
Where to Stay
We recommend staying at the hotel where all of the classes are being held! You’ll be within walking distance to several restaurants plus you’ll be right where all the action is! The best part of staying at the hotel – a chance to disappear and take a nap in your own room. 😉

There is also a hotel shuttle that runs from 6:30AM – 10:00PM and will take you within a 3-mile radius of the hotel.
Arriving in Denver
The easiest flights come in and out via Denver International Airport (DIA).
Getting to the Hotel/Venue
After your flight, we recommend booking an Uber/Lyft to the hotel. It’s about a 25 minute drive.
You can also take the Regional Train option. The hotel shuttle will pick you up and drop you off from the Peoria train station. You must call the hotel to secure the shuttle. Click here to plan your route.
Driving to the Conference
Parking at the hotel is $6/day. If you are staying overnight, it is $12/overnight.
The Altitude
Please, please, please drink plenty of water before coming to Denver. Altitude sickness is no joke and being well hydrated and well rested will really help you feel your best!

ALL attendees, vendors and teachers must check-in at the front desk and receive their conference badge plus swag bag item. You will not be able to attend any sessions without your conference badge!

Face Coverings Are Currently NOT Mandatory Indoors
We are following all local rules and guidelines that are in place at the time of the event as well as all CDC recommendations for this event. As of March 1, 2022, masks are not required indoors in Denver or Aurora, CO.
Due to the ever increasing landscape of COVID, we will make updates to this policy.
We strongly encourage all participants to wear a face mask, especially those whom are immunocompromised.

You are able to change your classes the day of but we do expect some classes to fill up. Choose your classes now so you can guarantee a spot!
Attending the Conference
We have a great program in store for you!
A few tips on how to make the most of your conference experience:
- Use the hand hygiene and sanitation stations available around the convention center.
- Plan your schedule ahead of time using the mobile-friendly event platform, Momence.
- Allow time for breaks, viewing our vendors, visiting the book store, meeting your favorite podcasters and getting your complimentary headshot taken (Sunday only).
Food and Beverage Options
We are offering two light vegetarian meals at the event for our 3-day conference pass holders ONLY. You will be required to show your conference badge to access food.
Meal One: Friday 5:00 – 6:45PM – Catered Welcome Social

Food will be served as a buffet and will include vegetarian food with dairy-free and gluten-free options. A more detailed menu will be provided as we get closer to the event.
We do ask that everyone wears a mask as they move through the buffet line.
There are other food & beverage options at the hotel and surrounding areas.
Is there a virtual option for the conference?
Yes! Although we are excited for the opportunity to engage and learn in person, we recognize that this is not always possible. Learn more about our Live Stream option.
Attendees of the in-person event will have the opportunity to purchase all of the conference recordings for $65 at the event. You MUST attend in-person for this option.
Can I get continuing education credit for attending?
YES! View our scheduleto see all the classes that we offer for Yoga Alliance CEU’s. All classes with a * are available for CEU’s.
1 hour = 1 Yoga Alliance CEU
A 2-hour class is 2 Yoga Alliance CEU’s and a 3-hour class is 3 Yoga Alliance CEU’s.
After the Conf, we will email you with the CEU certificates for each class you attend. Please give us at least 7 days to send out the CEU certificates.
